Is the PMLeague officially dead?
by CordlessPen on Aug.05, 2011, under News
Remember, more than a year ago, when I said I would have news before the end of the week? Yeah, I lied. I didn’t really do anything back then, and I have to admit I have no real, solid plan for the near future. Does that mean the league is dead and done?
No!
The league will always be a project of mine, and while an organized tournament is out of the question for the moment, a casual get-together is an option I’d very much like to consider, especially since I have a lot of free time in the coming weeks. And since I know nobody reads this anymore, of course I’ll call each and every one of you when the time comes.
In the meantime, stay happy!
The PMLeague January 2010 Revival
by CordlessPen on Jan.14, 2010, under News
Alright! Welcome to the league’s fourth attempt at a revival.
You will most probably notice that a lot of things have changed, most notable of all being the change from a perfectly good website to a generic blog. There are many reasons for this, but the only 2 you need to know are that I wanted a way for people other than me, such as tournament hosts, to post news items and comments, and that I couldn’t be assed with web design anymore.
The second most notable change would probably be the switch to English. No reason for that, I just need the practice. That, and I didn’t bother getting a French version of the blog software and I wanted everything to fit nicely. I’ll probably work something out in the near future.
Now. What does the league’s revival mean? First, it means new tournaments. I will most likely go through with the idea of a monthly tournament with an annual tally, but the details will be worked out over the next few days. It also means new rules. At least, I’ll toy with the idea of changing some of the rules.
Stay tuned for the details, coming before the end of next week!
